Have a couple of friends who got caught using limewire, was charged a huge fine. Apparently, they used limewire to download anime. I would like to highlight the dangerous of using limewire in this article.

Limewire contains virus. I was using Norton back in 2006, still using limewire, as that was the only way I knew to get songs. Downloaded a song and immediately, my Norton said it was a virus. What a waste of time! Waited for like 10minutes and it was a bloody virus! How angry I was. Had I not have that Norton, my computer would have been attacked. So to those users out there who still wants to use them, do make sure you get an anti virus.

Limewire has slow download speed. It’s speed is really slow. Yeah, I know, you say you have the limewire pro. But honestly, the download speed sucks. It can never beat download speeds I get from hosting websites. And apparently, if it is slow, then it takes a longer time and there is a higher risk of getting caught!

It is really famous. Ever heard of the saying ‘the safest place is always the most dangerous place’? Likewise here, it isn’t really smart to use something that is really famous, because even the police would know about it. Obvious huh? It really isn’t a wise thing to use limewire, but if you really want to, there is nothing I could do about it.

File sharing can look like a harmless thing to do, but it is actually illegal. So, what I would share in this article is how to avoid being caught for file sharing and such.

First, I know I know, bet you are thinking about limewire, utorrent, frostwire etc. While these are the most dangerous ones, it has become famous. Why? Just because your friends tell you that they found this good site and so on, and this good software to get your music and such, it does not really mean that it’s safe.

Let’s face it, you and I want to find a website that has all the things that you wish to download. Of course, these sites do exist. But, it’s all up to you, you to find them out. Chances are your friends might have some good ones, but everyone wants different things, his website might not have the things you want!

No pain, no gain, simple. If you want to download stuff free of charge without paying, you will have to do the research! Otherwise, nothing gets done!

The penalty for file sharing is very high. Thus, it is very important to be very careful. Why put yourself in such risk by using these softwares? I tell you no softwares are ever safe. The only safe leeching is via downloading online through a server. That, then is safe. You can choose to still use them though, thinking that there are a million of people using it, why me? But I tell you, all it takes is just once, once and you will remember it forever.
